About FRANCIS WINSPEAR CENTRE FOR MUSIC
Since opening its doors in 1997, the Francis Winspear Centre for music has served as a beacon for excellence in music and performance in Edmonton. In addition to superior acoustics and a visually stunning design, the Winspear Centre is home to the famed Davis Concert Organ, Canada’s largest concert pipe organ. The Winspear Centre produces The World at Winspear concert series, and is the performance home of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, one of Canada’s largest symphony orchestras.
A non-profit organization, the Winspear Centre relies on ticket sales, parking and rental revenue as its primary sources of funding and is the only performance venue in Alberta which operates without the support of any level of government. By making a donation to the Winspear Centre you can help to maintain this magnificent facility and ensure that our community continues to attract the local, national and international artists who perform here each year.
